The progression under Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes had been beautiful to watch. 3 wins in 2021, then 9 in 2022, then 12 in 2023, then 15 in 2024. A perfect arc that made you believe this franchise had finally figured it out. This feels like the perfect year for Campbell to remind everyone exactly who he is as a coach and leader. While the rest of the NFC is busy anointing new challengers and writing us off, Campbell gets to operate with that beautiful chip on his shoulder that has served him well before.
The man who kneecapped this franchise’s culture of losing isn’t about to let one disappointing season define what he’s building in Allen Park.
