Man this article gets it. Barry was THE reason so many of us stuck around through all the dark years. You could watch him do something nobody else could do and for a few hours on Sunday it didn’t matter that we were losing. That magic he had, we’ll never see that again and honestly I’m glad Holmes and Campbell came in because at least now we got something real to build on instead of just hoping one guy could carry the whole franchise.
Barry was incredible no doubt but I’m way more excited about what we got going on right now. The way Dan Campbell talks about this team and the moves Brad has been making actually feel different. I’m not saying we’re gonna cruise to anything but for the first time in forever it feels like the front office knows what they’re doing.
Cool story but let’s pump the brakes a little. Yeah Barry was special but one player doesn’t fix everything and we gotta see this new regime actually deliver before we start acting like we’re past all the pain. I’m hopeful though, can’t deny that much.
