I've been a Detroit Lions fan since birth. Grew up in Livonia, Michigan, and my football education started early. The first thing this team ever taught me was heartbreak. Calvin Johnson did the same thing a decade later. In between, there was 0-16, the Millen years, and more false starts than I care to count. Fifty plus years of this and I'm still here. That's either loyalty or a character flaw. Probably both.
